RV sellers take a hit as the pandemic continues
Learning the ropes of journalism and reporting in the midst of the pandemic was tough. This story was the silver lining of my experience during that time because I was able to tell people's stories who needed to be told. In this particular story we covered the multiple parties in the RV community. My portion was about the RV distributors and how the pandemic was effecting business.

Columbia Missouri has so many things that make it a great town. One thing that I thought didn't get talked about enough was its brewery scene. That said, I wrote a piece for Vox Magazine exploring seasonal beers to try during the spring time.

Vox Fest 2021
Vox Fest is a remote music festival that was created during the pandemic. It was full of local Columbia artists that performed over a three day span. We were in charge of putting the fest together meaning booking the artists, covering them, promoting the event and much more. Here is a recap of the event that I wrote.

During my time with Missouri Business Alert, I wanted to mix football with business for a story idea. I ended up writing about the Kansas City Chiefs massive spending spree in efforts to "run it back" after their super bowl victory.

St. Louis nurse turned entrepreneur looks to soothe staffing headaches with startup Provider Pool
I had the pleasure of interviewing Janna Westbrook, the founder of Provider Pool. Provider Pool is an online service that allows nurses to find available shifts at hospitals that are most convenient to them. I tell her story about how she came up with the idea for her business and how she manifested into one of the more promising startups in Missouri.
